From my 10-years of experience in blogging, and inputs from other experienced bloggers, I have come up with a 4-step process for writing.  You can read it here: The 4-step Creative Writing Process for Professional Bloggers In this extensive article I've covered the 4-step process in depth... 1. Gain Knowledge by Learning 2. Add Experience from Past & Present 3. Go into Deep Thought 4. What is your true power?

I have been thinking about this recently. And I thought I can share it with you... What is our TRUE power? What is YOUR true power as an individual human being? Is it money? Is it connections? Is it knowledge? Wisdom? Intelligence? All the above are potential energies. A lot of people have them. Not everyone has a lot, but everyone has something. You, with your life experience, will definitely have some money saved up, some knowledge and experience gained through the years and some intelligence. But what's the most powerful thing of this all? NONE of the above... None of these can be of any use if we do not use it. A high performance sports car is nothing without a driver to drive it forward. In my life experience, I have learned a thing or two. And I learned that, true power is always one thing: The power of  Getting Started. Initiative. Starting something is the most powerful thing. Many people are more skilled than me. Many people are having more resources than many succe

Because we as humans have not changed.  If you become a better marketer, you can automatically become a better digital marketer. So how do we become better marketers? 1. Get a Good Life Experience Marketing is mostly the ability to tell compelling stories.  Great marketers are people who have a great life experience.  For example, a while back I wrote a blog post on how digital marketing and blogging took me to China.  (You can read the blog post here:  How Blogging & Digital Marketing took me to China ). I was able to write that story because I did something in my life that is worth talking about. So

3 Business Lessons from Strategy Games

I am not sure how much computer games you play. Do you? I am a gamer and I love strategy games which involve planning. My favourite game is Red Alert. I have been playing Red Alert 3 for a very long time and its a war game. I realized, I have learned a lot of business lessons by playing Red Alert. And here are the top 3. 1. Don't Attack Too Soon In Red Alert, we have limited time and resources. I have to build an army with those resources and then attack my enemy. If I did not build a large enough army, I will lose the battle and also my troops. Once I lose my troops, I have to rebuild it from scratch. If I build a large enough troop after looking at my enemy, and attack with everything I have, I have a chance of winning. In business, it is similar. If you build a product and if it is not as good as your competitors, you will fail. Once you take it to the market and fail, there is no coming back. So have some patience and build a good product. Whe

The Secret to Happiness at Work

Are you happy at your work? Studies say that 80% of the people who work do not have their dream job.  Many people ask me: How am I always happy at my work?  And that got me thinking about the concept of  "Happiness at Work". In this email, I want to talk about some simple secrets that I have realized about happiness.  And it can help you be happy at work. Happiness Comes from Challenges The word challenge has a negative meaning in our world. Many times, challenges are considered to be the same as problems. We think -  "I want my life to be without any challenges or problems."   Problems are not the same as challenges. The secret to happiness lies in challenges. In solving the challenges. If you have solved all  the   challenges in your life, your life will be boring. To explain it better, let me take you back in time... There was a time when you were a kid. As a kid, you did not know how to ride a bi-cycle, a motorcycle, a car and you

The Basics of SEO

SEO… It's the most in-demand skill set in digital marketing. Because organic traffic is one of the best converting traffic sources and it’s free. Not just that.  Ranking in the top of the search engine results page is a sign of trust and reputation. People consider that the website that ranks in the top as the website they can trust and do business with.
